| | ENEFI Energy Efficiency Plc. (the ?Company?) hereby informs its Reputable Investors on the basis of the resolution received from the Hungarian tax authority that the Hungarian tax authority cancelled the suspension of the execution proceedings initiated upon the requisition of the Romanian tax authority and closed the execution proceedings. The reason for closing the proceedings is that the Hungarian tax authority started discussion proceedings with the Romanian tax authority on the basis of the evidences presented by the Company, requesting the declaration of the Romanian tax authority on why it had not conducted complete execution proceedings in Romania (constituting a condition of international requisitions) prior to the international requisition, furthermore it requested an explanation on why it did not request execution of the claims which had previously been disputed by the Company. Considering that the Romanian tax authority did not reply the above questions asked in the discussion proceedings,
only requesting the suspension of the proceedings, the discussion proceedings failed and considering all these, the Hungarian tax authority closed the proceedings without conducting any executory action. The Company wishes to maintain the provision which had been reduced from 100% to 25% due to the suspension of the execution proceedings to an extent of 10% in its quarterly report, considering that the risk of a future, unforeseen attack by the Romanian tax authority still cannot be excluded to 100% extent. | | | | | | | | | | |
