The highest price paid per share was 552.5 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 534.5 pence. Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the number of ordinary shares held as treasury shares is 2,674,731; and the number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 237,030,365.
