We believe that our longterm experience of working with leading European airlines in Vilniusairport and a proven quality track record will benefit the airlines andthe passengers, using the Frederic Chopin airport”– said BGS CEOSaulius Batavicius.In Poland Baltic Ground Services provides integrated passenger andaircraft ground handling services and into-plane refuelling services.In 2010 Warsaw Frédéric Chopin airport served 8,7 million passengers andmore than 116 thousand aircraft movements. Compared to 2009, passengertraffic grew by 4.7 percent (8,3 million passengers in total). 2010 wassecond best year in the history of Warsaw
airport, only surpassed by2008 results, when 9,3 mln. passengers were handled.BGS now possess licenses to provide ground handling services for another5 airports in Poland– Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Poznan and Katowice. In2010, more than 19 million passengers were carried through thoseairports.About Baltic Ground ServicesBaltic Ground Services provides integrated ground handling services inLithuanian and Polish airports and plans to expand into the Italianmarket. The BGS services are used by Lufthansa, Finnair, LOT, AerLingus, Brussels Airlines, airBaltic and other major European airlines. | |
